Challenge 8 At Color Me Scrappy nic - nacs

Hi Ladies - This color challege was the best. Colors I just never would have thought to put some of these colors  together. I so enjoyed creating this lo.  It's all about nic - nacs.  When I saw the picture I knew it would go perfect with the lo I had in mind.  Once again lots of color, stamping, spray, paint, glimmer and sparkle.  The blue birds are chipboard and I used perfect pearls and paint to get that gorgeous blue effect.  Come scrap along with us for Challenge #8 at Color Me Scrappy. http://color-me-scrappy.blogspot.ca/

Happy Colors Challenge #7 at Color Me Scrappy

Hi Ladies. Great day to scrap here in Edmonton with it storming and raining. I so loved this color palette. I called it Happy Colors. It was so fun to work with.  It was all my favorite colors to work and create with. Challenge #6 - Color Me Scrappy - Today Walk With Me

Hi ladies.. What great colors these were to work with at the color  challenge at Color Me Scrappy. I had so much fun creating with these gorgeous colors together.  I love flamingos and as soon as I saw the color palette I knew I would use a photo of flamingos.  The back ground paper is from Hambley Prints, and underneath the transparency I misted a doiley blue.  Had fun creating with embossing powders and mist.  Hope to see you at Color Me Scrappy for Challenge #6.

Challenge 5 at Color Me Scrappy

This is lo I did in memory of my dear dad who passed away January 26, 2012. My dad loved his Ham Shack . As my scrap room is my get away, that room was his heaven.  He loved collecting and playing with a ton of stuff.  I remember growing up he used to make us vacume his room for him.  I miss my dad. Rest in Peace dad.. xoxox. I loved working with these colors at the challenge over at Color Me Scrappy.  Come join us. There's lots of great inspiration there from the talented  DT. Technology

I had a great time creating this lo.  Certainly was a challenge for me.  I tried to get an old rustic, yet modern feel for this lo.  I did lots of cutting from different "old paper".  When I found this photo I knew it would go perfect with the style I had in mind.  The products and color was perfect for the photo.  Thank goodness for Technology with the modern airplane above.

I Puy Trains In The Sky

When I found this photo I knew it would suit the feel I had in mind for this lo. Modern picture for the feel of city life.  I misted and stamped some houses to compliment the photo and used my Copic markers to color them in.  The trains in the back ground reminded me of "City Life".  The title was the last thing I put together and thought it went well with the lo.  The star and the cloud resulted in white gesso and several layers of mist, glaze and embossing powder.  Had a blast creating this lo. Ok!! Wow!! I soo loved this challenge. The colors were right up my alley , dark bold and gorgeous! The ideas were endless! Once again loving playing with mist and did some major cutting on this lo. Nails. Nails, Nails

When I saw these color schemes I knew it would be a great challenge for me. I love  when you see a certain palette you would never really think of using certain colors together.  I just love these colors together.  Yes I'm a girly girl and nails are a must for me.. I love nails done up! I used several applications of mist and sprinkled grey mist randomly on this lo.
