Smash Journal - Washi Tape

I recently went insane on scrap supplies including washi tape, why,  I guess because Im addicted. I did a smash journal page on yummy washi tape tfl ladies.

Hi everyone.  I recently purchased a ton of mixed medium goodies and started to experiment with them.  Thoroughly enjoyed playing with them all.  Gesso, numerous textures of Golden Mediums and I  used my Gelotos to play with the green grass. The tree has a thick layer of thick molding paste to give it the thick bark texture effect I wanted. I would have loved to experiment with different  stencils, but since I'm moving I've packed them and seems I only have my barb wire stencil.  The blank ink drips are Artistic Artists Ink. I also used  other colors of Gelotos to do some shading. Love how scrapbooking has takin yet another level to create and learn different techniques. Thats what its about for me fun and creating. I  would like to thank Lynn Shokoples Scrappyhappy mom for her inspiration since she got me hooked 16 years ago. Thank you all for your encouragement kind words and  inspiration.

Wow was it ever tough to do a lo after smashing for so long... Feels good to get back into scrapin! Playing around with some of my goodies!! ♥ I'm soo new at  this  and experimenting - with Modeling Paste, Mod Padge, Clear Tar Gel, Light Molding Paste -  I applied all of these mediums and spray with my Favorite Mist Dylusions.  Love how the color is so vibrant.  I did some stamping of leaves and butterflies and shaded with Copic Markers and Gelatos.  I certainly have a ton to learn with all these new products out there but certainly had fun creating  this lo.. Challenge #13 - Color Me Scrappy - Charred Hues

 

 

Hello Ladies! Wow Challenge 13 over at Color Me Scrappy was my biggest challenge thus far.. So out of my comfort zone, but an amazing challenge to get you out of your box.  My creative juices were flowing until I had to throw in the spash of blue..  I think it turned out pretty good. The photo is what gave  me the inspiration. What a Hoot

Hi ladies. Well I took a break from packing and decluttering and decided to relax and do some scrapin. I loved doing this lo. Played and inked with some green distressed ink instead of my usual black ink. I really love how this turned out.  In my packing I found some Fancy floss I decided to put on in the end.  Thanks for looking and Happy Scrappin!

Hi Ladies..I'm having a blast with these Smash Journals.  I find it  messier then scrapbooking, a great change from scrapping but yet still creating and so much fun... meaning my desk is a disaster.  Its' a great way to use up scraps too.. Have fun smashing. tfl.
