Wow was it ever awesome creating and playing again.. Its been a while because I just recently moved.   I so enjoyed creating this lo.. Tell Your Story

Hi everyone.  I recently purchased a ton of mixed medium goodies and started to experiment with them.  Thoroughly enjoyed playing with them all.  Gesso, numerous textures of Golden Mediums and I  used my Gelotos to play with the green grass. The tree has a thick layer of thick molding paste to give it the thick bark texture effect I wanted. I would have loved to experiment with different  stencils, but since I'm moving I've packed them and seems I only have my barb wire stencil.  The blank ink drips are Artistic Artists Ink. I also used  other colors of Gelotos to do some shading. Love how scrapbooking has takin yet another level to create and learn different techniques. Thats what its about for me fun and creating. I  would like to thank Lynn Shokoples Scrappyhappy mom for her inspiration since she got me hooked 16 years ago. Thank you all for your encouragement kind words and  inspiration.

Wow was it ever tough to do a lo after smashing for so long... Feels good to get back into scrapin! Playing around with some of my goodies!! ♥ I'm soo new at  this  and experimenting - with Modeling Paste, Mod Padge, Clear Tar Gel, Light Molding Paste -  I applied all of these mediums and spray with my Favorite Mist Dylusions.  Love how the color is so vibrant.  I did some stamping of leaves and butterflies and shaded with Copic Markers and Gelatos.  I certainly have a ton to learn with all these new products out there but certainly had fun creating  this lo.. Challenge #13 - Color Me Scrappy - Charred Hues

 

 

Hello Ladies! Wow Challenge 13 over at Color Me Scrappy was my biggest challenge thus far.. So out of my comfort zone, but an amazing challenge to get you out of your box.  My creative juices were flowing until I had to throw in the spash of blue..  I think it turned out pretty good. The photo is what gave  me the inspiration. What a Hoot

Hi ladies. Well I took a break from packing and decluttering and decided to relax and do some scrapin. I loved doing this lo. Played and inked with some green distressed ink instead of my usual black ink. I really love how this turned out.  In my packing I found some Fancy floss I decided to put on in the end.  Thanks for looking and Happy Scrappin!

Hi Ladies..I'm having a blast with these Smash Journals.  I find it  messier then scrapbooking, a great change from scrapping but yet still creating and so much fun... meaning my desk is a disaster.  Its' a great way to use up scraps too.. Have fun smashing. tfl.

Beautiful

This is a lo I did of my daughter using the New Prima Collection Romance Novel.  I just  bought the cardboard and painted some gesso over it and dabbed abit of pink  paint on it.  The new leaves I just love!!! Also from the new Prima Collection.  The circle garland is from Studio Calico which I painted green.  The black frames I used to frame the lo is cardboard painted with paint and glimmer mist.  Nice collection.  Thanks for looking ladies.

Wanna Smash with me - Smash Journal

Just a short drive by post ladies.. I'm really loving these smash journals by K & Company. Quite abit different then scrapbooking and it was real messy for me which I don't mind and love.  I'm not even sure weather or not I'm getting the hang of this or not, right or wrong.. none the less sooo much fun.  This is my partner in crime and I ( Lynn scrappyhappy mom).  We were at Treasured Memories Family and Friends Event.  We both love coffee and hence she is a great coffee buddy! Strawberries - Color and Sketch Challenge at Color Me Scrappy

Hello Ladies, Gosh its been forever since I've created, seems like summer does that to some of us. Today at Color Me Scrappy we were challenged to a color/sketch combination (sketch from Sketches in Thyme) Fabulous sketch and colors. Perfect for summer and what better then to use photos of strawberries. First time I've ever created both a color and sketch together. Enjoyed it alot and yes its a great challenge. I loved working with these colors. I probably wouldn't have used the color blue had it not been in the pallette, thats why a challenge is so awesome because you use colors together you never would have thought of. Challenge 8 At Color Me Scrappy nic - nacs

Hi Ladies - This color challege was the best. Colors I just never would have thought to put some of these colors  together. Hi Ladies. Great day to scrap here in Edmonton with it storming and raining. I so loved this color palette. I called it Happy Colors. Challenge #6 - Color Me Scrappy - Today Walk With Me

Hi ladies.. What great colors these were to work with at the color  challenge at Color Me Scrappy. I had so much fun creating with these gorgeous colors together.  I love flamingos and as soon as I saw the color palette I knew I would use a photo of flamingos.  The back ground paper is from Hambley Prints, and underneath the transparency I misted a doiley blue.  Had fun creating with embossing powders and mist.  Hope to see you at Color Me Scrappy for Challenge #6.
